Unlocks in 0 Seconds Fortnite Error
At the time of writing the Fortnite Week 5 challenges can’t be seen due to a error. Players are seeing a message that reads: “Unlocks in 0 Seconds”. You’re not alone in this, and Epic has decided to push back the Week 5 Challenges so that they instead launch on May 31, in two days time.
Fortnite Week 5 Challenges
The Week 5 Challenges will be live shortly in Fortnite, but don’t forget that challenges from the previous weeks are always available to complete whenever you want. For everything you might have missed from the previous week, head over to our Fortnite Week 4 Challenges guide.
Just below, you can see the full list of Fortnite Week 5 Challenges. These Week 5 Challenges are set to go live at the delayed date of May 31, but still at the usual time of 1 am PST/4 am EST/9 am BST.
- Deal 500 damage with SMGs to opponents (500).
- Search seven chests in Dusty Divot (7).
- Use a Jetpack.
- Search seven Gravity Stones (7).
- Follow the treasure map found in Greasy Grove.
- Get two minigun or light minigun eliminations (2).
- Eliminate three opponents in Lucky Landing (3).
If you can manage to complete just four of the seven challenges in Week 5, then you’ll bag yourself a bonus of 4,000 XP. If you complete all seven challenges, then you’ll unlock the secret Hidden Challenge of the week, which brings you one step closer to completing the Blockbuster Challenge for Season 4.
Deal 500 Damage with SMGs to Opponents
For this challenge, you’ll simply need to get your hands on an SMG as quickly as possible. We’d recommend landing in a named location, and going for a chest as quickly as possible. Keep in mind that you don’t need to deal 500 damage in a single game, and you don’t need to outright kill an opponent for the damage to count.
Search Seven Chests in Dusty Divot
This challenge is either going to be extremely easy or extremely difficult, depending on how many players are heading for Dusty Divot to complete the challenge. Dusty Divot is actually a really small location on the Fortnite Battle Royale map, and you won’t actually have to look very far at all to discover multiple chests in a single match.
Use a Jetpack
Unfortunately, there’s no certain location in which to find a Jetpack in Fortnite. Your best bet to obtain one is to head to a named location on the map, and search in as many chests as quickly as possible. See our complete list of named locations with chests just below:
Search Seven Gravity Stones
We should point out that Gravity Stones aren’t the same as Hop Rocks, so don’t think you can head to Dusty Divot and complete this challenge in a matter of minutes. We don’t yet know the final locations of any Gravity Stones on the Battle Royale map, but we’ll be sure to update this guide as soon as we uncover any.
Follow the Treasure Map Found in Greasy Grove
The Week 5 Challenges have only just gone live in Fortnite, and as such as we haven’t uncovered the final location of the treasure. Make sure to keep an eye on this guide, as we’ll be updating this page whenever we uncover the final location on the treasure.
Get Two Minigun or Light Minigun Eliminations
Your best bet on finding a minigun or light minigun in Fortnite is to search all the chests you can within a named location. This challenge is pretty vague since it doesn’t stipulate whether the two kills have to come in a single game, but we’d bet on you not having to kill two people with a minigun in the same game of Fortnite.
Eliminate Three Opponents in Lucky Landing
Rounding out the Fortnite Week 5 Challenges is one of the more simple ones. All you need to do to complete this challenge is to eliminate three players within Lucky Landing, but spread out across as many matches as necessary.
